Well you have to play both sides of the fence on this one. Some cleansing diets are in fact crap. As a medical doctor I suggest to my patients that they should do their own research and decide for themselves. I do suggest changing diets to raw organic foods and distilled water. The body needs amino acids to function properly and most of those are traditionally provided through meats and other proteins. Amino acids can also be obtained through vegetables and other healthy alternatives. In fact, greens are the most important source of all in providing amino acids.

I'm not sure if cleansing should be part of a diet. We all need to flush toxins out of our systems but for optimum health rather than weight loss.
